
Bob Cairns, R.Ph.
Bob is a 1984 graduate of St. John’s University College of Pharmacy in Queens, New York, and a registered pharmacist. He began his career as a professional sales representative with Eli Lilly and Company, where he held various sales assignments before transitioning to Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical Corp in 1990 as a Medical Science Liaison.
At Ortho-McNeil, Bob progressed through roles of increasing responsibility, including Manager of Scientific Liaisons, Product Director, Group Product Director, Director of Marketing, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Wound Healing/Metabolic Franchise. In October 1999, he left to launch his own medical education company.
In July 2004, Bob joined Schering-Plough as Director of Marketing, Respiratory Products, overseeing brands such as Asmanex, Foradil, and garenoxacin. He later moved to ImClone Systems in March 2008, serving as Vice President, Global Product Champion for Erbitux. Following the acquisition of ImClone by Eli Lilly and Company in 2009, Bob returned to the agency side of the business.
Currently, Bob is a Managing Partner at Trinity Medical, leveraging his extensive pharmaceutical and medical marketing expertise to drive impactful client results.
